 Christian Abraham got his start in newspaper photojournalism while still in high school in 1987. He learned the skills needed to capture news events as they unfolded and brought art back to the newsroom under the pressure of deadline.
While serving in the US Navy, Abraham spent time working in various job while stationed aboard the warship USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). Some work from that time period can be seen here. While on the ship he learned video production and produced video for the nightly newscast Newslinc.
Abraham is an award-winning photojournalist who provides top quality work for clients. Abraham has been published in a variety of magazines and newspapers all over the country. Currently, Mr. Abraham is a fulltime staff photojournalist for the Connecticut Post, the third largest newspaper in the state, where he documents daily life in Southwest Connecticut.
In addition to his skill as a still photojournalist, Abraham is experienced in video production. He has done field work for production companies, shot and edited wedding packages, and gathered news for several TV stations. Samples of his video production skills can be seen on YouTube.
Savin Rock Weddings was formed in West Haven, CT to fill a need in the region for affordable, yet, provide high quality photography and videography services. Mr. Abraham uses his skills as a photojournalist to document weddings in a comprehensive yet unobtrusive manner.
